Telemarketing Recruitment in the UK
More about Telemarketing
Telemarketing is known as the process of selling products/services via the telephone. It is often used as an effective method to raise funds for charitable causes. Telemarketing methods are broadly the same and often require an accomplished sales technique in order to close the sale. Some telemarketing posts require their telemarketers not necessarily to close the sale but perhaps to set an appointment for another sales team or perhaps pre-screen or qualify potential customers.Renumeration is often performance based, with a base rate salary and then commission awarded on top. The role is often target based. Telemarketing posts can be based in an office for smaller businesses but are often located in call centres.
The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) in the United Kingdom is a free service which is essentially a centralised database of numbers who choose not to receive unsolicited calls for marketing or sales purposes. Telemarketing companies are legally required not to make any calls to telephone numbers registered with the TPS without consent.
